Reducing environmental impact

At Meiko, we recognize the impact that our factory's business activities have on the local environment, and we believe it is our responsibility to reduce that burden. Specifically, we comply with pollution prevention laws and regulations and local agreements, and are working to reduce the total amount of emissions as determined by the PRTR Law.

Discharge load reduction activities

To contribute to the preservation of the local environment, we regularly measure and manage the quality of wastewater and the state of gases released into the atmosphere.

Biodiversity conservation

Meiko recognizes that biodiversity is essential for a sustainable society, and will promote various biodiversity conservation activities under a group-wide "Action Policy" that covers both "business activities" and "social contribution activities."
