  1. We will develop and provide socially useful and highly reliable products and services, giving due consideration to quality, safety, and the protection of customer information, in order to gain customer satisfaction and trust.

  3. We will engage in fair, transparent, and free competition and fair transactions, and maintain healthy and proper relationships with political and administrative bodies.
  4. We will communicate with various stakeholders, including shareholders, customers, investors, business partners, and employees, and will proactively, fairly, and promptly disclose corporate information to enhance the transparency of our corporate activities.
  5. We respect the diversity, personality, and individuality of our employees, and strive to create a safe, lively, and comfortable working environment.
  6. Addressing environmental issues is a common challenge for all of humanity, and we will reduce the burden on the global environment and contribute to creating a sustainable society.

The Meiko Group's management practices place customer satisfaction first in all aspects of its business operations.
Providing high-quality, safe and reliable products and services
We will always provide products and services that meet customer expectations and requests and that satisfy them. We will also continually formulate and review our quality policy and the various regulations for evaluating products and services in order to further improve the safety, reliability, and quality of our products and services.
Responding to customer complaints and requests
We respond honestly and sincerely to all complaints and requests from customers, share them with the Meiko Group, and use them to develop and improve our products and services. Furthermore, if we receive information related to the safety of our products or services, we will promptly report it to the Quality Assurance Division at our Group Headquarters, and if deemed necessary, we will appoint the Director in charge of Quality Assurance as the person in charge of product safety to investigate the cause and disclose the necessary information to customers and related organizations in a timely and easy-to-understand manner.
Trust from stakeholders
To create corporate value, we strive to conduct sound and transparent corporate activities and management, and aim to remain a company that is trusted by customers, shareholders, investors, local communities, etc. Furthermore, to gain correct understanding and trust, we disclose corporate information such as management policies and financial data in a timely and appropriate manner.

Intellectual Property Protection
We will comply with patent law, copyright law, and other laws and regulations related to intellectual property rights, and will endeavor to properly maintain and manage intellectual property acquired through technological development, etc., and to ensure that it is not infringed by others. Similarly, we will respect the intellectual property held by others and will not intentionally infringe on it or contribute to or be complicit in any infringement.

Fair, transparent and free competition

Fair trading
We will always maintain transparent relationships with our business partners, comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and conduct fair transactions in accordance with sound business practices and accepted social standards. In our relationships with other companies in the same industry, we will not engage in any conduct that impedes fair and free competition or any activity that could be suspected of impeding such conduct.
Transactions with suppliers
We will always maintain fairness in our purchasing activities, maximize the profits of the Meiko Group, and strive to gain a high level of trust from our suppliers. We will conduct honest transactions in accordance with applicable laws and contracts, treat suppliers on an equal footing, make selections based on rational judgment, and not accept personal gain or favors, nor let personal feelings get in the way of our decisions.
Handling entertainment and gifts
In order to maintain healthy relationships with business partners, such as suppliers, we will not provide or accept personal benefits related to work, such as entertainment or gifts that deviate from the bounds of social common sense, such as for ceremonial occasions. We will also endeavor to thoroughly inform our business partners of this purpose.
Prohibition of insider trading
We will not trade stocks or securities based on material non-public company information, nor will we encourage others (family members, friends, customers or other employees) to do so.
Proper management and use of company assets
We strive to improve business performance and profits by making the most of tangible assets and intangible assets such as intellectual property. To that end, we will properly preserve and manage the Group's assets (including tangible and intangible assets, computers, and networks) and strive to use them for the purpose of improving our business and fulfilling our social responsibilities. We will not use them for personal purposes or anything other than our original business.
Appropriate accounting practices
All accounting procedures, including accounting books and financial records, will be carried out fairly and honestly. Not only executives and employees in charge of accounting and finance, but all employees will also comply with the relevant laws and regulations related to their own work, to avoid misleading or creating false records.

Management of company information and assets

Providing fair and appropriate information
In our sales activities and in responding to inquiries and services, we will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and will not use any representations or expressions that are contrary to the facts regarding the quality, performance, or specifications of our products or services, or expressions that may cause misunderstanding to customers.
Handling of information
We will handle information with the utmost care in accordance with our information security policy. In order to protect customer information and information assets held by our company from threats such as unauthorized access, disasters, and crime, we will implement measures to strengthen security and raise awareness of information security among our executives and employees.
Management of confidential information
We will properly manage the company's confidential information, including that relating to management, technological development, product development, etc. We will not use such information for purposes other than those intended or disclose it to third parties without the company's permission, not only while employed but also after leaving the company.
In addition, we will not engage in conversations or check documents that could lead to the leakage of information in places where large numbers of people gather, such as public transportation or restaurants.
Protection of Personal Information
We respect the privacy of individuals, including customers, employees of business partners, and group executives and employees. We also collect, use, and manage personal information appropriately. We will not use personal information for purposes other than those intended or disclose it to third parties without the individual's consent.
Media relations and public statements
Official information and disclosures will be provided to newspapers, magazines, television, radio, the Internet, and securities analysts only through appropriate employees, such as public relations and investor relations personnel.

Respect for employee individuality and a comfortable workplace

Respect for human rights
We do not discriminate on the grounds of race, skin color, ethnicity, nationality, religion, creed, gender, age, sexual orientation, social status, past career history, disability, medical history, pregnancy status, marital status, etc. We also respect each other as human beings and think and act from the other person's perspective.
Elimination of forced labor and child labor
We do not engage in forced labor. We also do not employ children under the minimum employment age set forth by the laws of each country or region. We also only ask for original government-issued identification and personal documents with formal consent, and we eliminate any system that could lead to bonded labor.
A comfortable working environment

We will also take a firm stance against any form of harassment that disrupts the workplace culture.
Privacy Protection
We will not disclose information about the private lives of executives or employees that we learn in the workplace or through business operations, either inside or outside the company, without the consent of the individual.
Healthy and safe working environment
We will comply with labor-related laws and regulations, work regulations, and other company rules and regulations regarding personnel and employment. We will also thoroughly implement safety-first practices that consider safety and the physical and mental health of our employees, manage risks when physically demanding work is involved, and strive to create a bright and energetic workplace and improve the working environment.

Compliance with laws, regulations, company rules and policies
All Meiko Group executives and employees will comply with all laws, regulations, company rules and policies of each country and region that are relevant to their work, and will conduct business activities honestly and ethically.
Political or religious activities, solicitation activities
We will not engage in political activities, ideological activities, religious missionary activities, or solicitation activities that seek to benefit individuals or specific groups within the company without the company's permission. Furthermore, we will not use the company's name or title when engaging in activities outside the company in an individual capacity.
Coexistence with the local community
In order to become a company that is loved and trusted by the local community, we will work closely with the local community and contribute to its cultural and economic development.
A corporate culture that values social contribution activities
We will foster a corporate culture in which each and every executive and employee is always conscious of contributing to society and proactively puts social contributions into practice in their own surroundings.
Exclusion of anti-social forces
We will sever all ties with anti-social forces that threaten the order and safety of civil society. If we receive unreasonable demands, we will work closely with external specialized agencies such as the police and respond resolutely as a company.

We will identify and prevent various risks within the Meiko Group. In the event of a crisis, we will respond promptly according to established internal procedures.
Maintaining peace and security (eliminating conflict minerals)
We will not trade in materials, parts, products, technologies, etc., such as conflict minerals, that hinder or are likely to hinder the maintenance of international peace and security.

Violation of this Code of Conduct
Any violation of this Code of Conduct will be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with the company regulations. If you have any doubts about whether you have violated this Code of Conduct or are unsure of your course of action, be sure to consult with your supervisor or the relevant department.
Whistleblowing
We have established a hotline for reporting unethical or illegal behavior in cases where the issue cannot be resolved by consulting with a supervisor or where it is difficult to do so, and we respond to reports sincerely. When responding, we ensure the anonymity of whistleblowers and take thorough measures to ensure that they are not subjected to harassment or retaliation. We will take strict action against anyone who commits harassment or retaliation, including taking personnel disciplinary action.
